Comments : In Sander's List of Orchid Hybrids. 3 Year Addendum (2002-2004) is written: Some plants under this name may be Phrag. richteri q.v. of similar natural hybrids.
In Sander's List of Orchid Hybrids. 3 Year Addendum (2011-2013) one can read: While the name ecuadorense is a synonym of pearcei, there is some doubt as to the identity of the plants used in hybridising.
